My artwork got the highest award possible in the Scholastic high school art competition thing! Yay!

That means scholarship opportunities! and HONNOOORRRR for me!

Anyways, uh, I wrote a long-ish (for me) fic starring Aang and Zuko today.

Anyways, today i went to go see a Picasso exhibit. It was cool. I'm not the biggest fan of cubism, but it was still really neat to see!

Tonight, band practice was horrible, but my chat night ladies cheered me up!

I'm visiting Ringling this weekend. I really really really really REALLY want to get in there. It's pretty much the Calarts of the East Coast when it comes to animation.

Day one of classes is complete!

I have drawing in the morning, and painting in the afternoon. Pretty much, you hang out with your group the whole time, and I've meet some cool people. :) (I'm in 2DA, REPRESENT!) This camp is relatively small, just a little over 100 kids. This just seems small to me 'cause it's the size of marching band!

In Nevada City, CA now... last few days of the trip! I'm at my great aunt's house... my great aunt is only 3 years older than my mom. XD So, she's more like my aunt... it's good to see my Great Grandma again, too ( Read more... )

Eddy set me up with meetings with the person in charge of Pixar University, and the person in charge of Pixar internships...

Would you call my art style "anime"? (In the broad sense of the word, it obviously isn't animated... yet. XD)

Because whenever someone in real life sees me drawing, they call it "anime"... but no one has ever really referred to it as such online...

What IS my style anyways?

(And I'm talking just about how I draw, not paint or color or whatever)
